Youtooz, a leader in collectible figurines, is now partnering with Facepunch to produce exclusive, limited-time figures from RUST. Four figures will be released: a blue Scientist, a Survivor, a Welyn figure, and a Frost figure. A partnership long in the making, the exclusive figures will be available on July 12th. Youtooz has partnered with dozens of fandoms and universes, and their latest partnership only expands their influence in the gaming industry.
RUST, officially released in 2018, has been an active gaming community since its inception. Developed by Facepunch and set in a dystopian world, RUST is a game that continues to generate engaging content for multiple mediums. And now they get their very own collectible figures. But the figures won’t just represent characters from the game; they’ll also feature popular streamers and content creators Welyn and Frost.

Standing at 4.6 inches and complete with its own uniquely designed box, Hazmat Welyn holds a blueprint with the words “Gamers Welcome” on it and features the familiar smiley eyes that every other Youtooz figure has. Even the box is unique to Welyn. Fans will find plenty of pumpkins decorating the box, which was absolutely a touch of Welyn’s.
Welyn is a figure who’s spent more hours playing RUST than some people have put into their day jobs. His Youtube channel has well over 2 million views. He’s a figure who isn’t just good at RUST; he has a goal in mind when he plays. And not the usual goal all streamers have of making online content. No, Welyn likes to say he follows a moral code when he plays. He relates to new players who find going up against toxic, high-level clans a colossal deterrent to playing RUST. He knows what it’s like to ruin your gaming experience with large groups of unfriendly players who often cheat.
So Welyn has made a name for himself as a white knight in the RUST community. Slaying the dragon of toxicity and saving innocent players from inevitable frustration. Taking a look through his YouTube channel will show you videos like “DESTROYING AN ARROGANT CHEATER, or RISKING IT ALL in a SOLO RAID.” His fans cheer on his efforts to make the world of RUST more welcoming to new and old players.
Youtooz choosing to honor Welyn as a figure makes sense for several reasons. Not only is he wildly popular, not only does he have his own RUST skin, but he’s helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years for multiple charity events. Welyn’s presence has graced both Charitable RUST and Rustoria. Not only does he fight for the little guy throughout his RUST career, but he makes sure to give back to the community.
So to any cheaters, bullies, or toxic players roaming the forests of RUST, beware. The Hazmat Knight may not be far.
The Frost Figurine
Frost, a prolific and skilled RUST streamer, also gets his own Youtooz figure to immortalize himself as part of the gaming community. Clocking in at 4.7 inches, thanks to the ears on his hood, Frost is holding a camera to one eye and smiling just like every other Youtooz figure. He’s holding a Frost-skinned rifle in his right hand, wearing a puffy suit with tactical armor, and he’s not wearing any shoes. Frost decided to decorate his box with a woodland setting, showing him atop a hill filming away. It’s a perfect way to feature the RUST legend.
A heavyweight in RUST circles, Frost is a gamer who produces feature-length RUST movies that would make some Hollywood directors sweat. He’s known for producing a story with his videos instead of merely showcasing raw content. He says his goal is to tell “a story, or at least learn a lesson by the end of the video.” This is why his videos often start with a scripted scene to set the atmosphere or a dramatic moment to hook the audience.
His videos often run for over an hour, but the content is engaging enough–the story is developed enough–that a thirty-minute chunk can go by before you know it. But Frost is committed to excellence in his videos, and he’s sacrificed nothing to reach it.

The Scientist Figurine
The enigmatic and murderous scientists of RUST finally get their moment in the spotlight. Standing at a modest 4.4 inches, the scientist’s Youtooz figure appears far more friendly than the in-game version. Though we can’t see his face under that gas mask, we’re willing to bet he’s got a toothy smile on. He wears his styled blue hazmat suit and holds a gun that looks similar to an MP5. It’s one of the most accurate representations of the scientists we’ve seen. Well, aside from his smiley eyes. The box the scientist comes in features a dark woodland setting. Fans will notice a decrepit satellite dish and a campfire in the background.
Scientists are the ever mysterious, ever-ubiquitous NPC characters dotting the irradiated world of RUST. They can be both a good and bad sign when encountered while running around the map. They can be good as they are often a sign of a monument nearby and have plenty of gear to loot. But they can also be bad because some of them pack serious heat and will shoot on sight. As if we don’t have enough to worry about without these hazmat-suited freaks chasing us around.
Scientists fit into the overarching story of the world of RUST. We just don’t quite know how yet. Players will often find them using Geiger counters to observe piles of junk or speaking a Charlie Brown garbled language into their radios. The scientist is a figure that shouldn’t be overlooked by those passionate RUST fans looking to decorate their gamepad.
The Survivor Figurine
We’ve all been there. Starting out on a new server with a new character. Waking up with nothing but gray boxer briefs, a rock, and a torch to your name. Wondering how you’re supposed to go from a naked person to an armored, weaponized warrior of the badlands.

When it comes to immortalizing iconic characters of the RUST universe, Youtooz felt they couldn’t leave out the player. And even though players can customize their survivor however they like, Youtooz decided to go with buzz-cut Bill for their survivor template. The survivor’s box shows a mountainside scene, sparse with trees. On the inside of the box is the RUST logo repeating.
The Youtooz survivor figure stands at 4.4 inches tall. He’s wearing an innocent smile on his face while flaunting his pixelated privates. In one hand, he holds the life-giving torch. In his other hand, he holds the life-taking rock, which happens to be covered in blood.
The survivor is by far one of our favorite Youtooz figures. It’s something we could see decorating our bachelor pad as it brings back every early memory of our time in RUST.
