V Rising, the vampire action adventure game that lets you build your undead empire, is getting a beefy update just in time for the spooky festivities.
The Haunted Nights Castle Pack DLC contains a ton of free decor for your vampire castle. Most of it is Halloween-themed, with floating Jack-O-Lanterns and skulls with candles inside. But all of it will elevate your vampire dwellings into macabre, and all of it is free.

V Rising is getting a hefty patch with tons of new Halloween decor options. Lots of rebalancing and reworking combat engagements—we’re looking at you, Stone Golem. And plenty of tweaks to random mechanics as well.
The Hunt’s Gone Mad
To spice up the gameplay of V Rising and make things more interesting, Stunlock Studios has added two new sever presets for the game. The latest patch has included Mad Hunt for both PvE and PvP. When players have activated these settings, locations, abilities, and tech will be randomized. This means you can only rely on farming those V Blood locations you memorized. You’ll have to see what the RNG gods have in store for you.
With all this free Halloween content and reworked mechanics, we’re hoping there’s more in store for V Rising. Stunlock Studios has continued giving attention to their undead project, and we’re hopeful there will be more surprises in the near future.
