Spread Loot Solo Base Design
This RUST spread loot solo base design video is brought to you by our partner xRaw.
This base is specially designed for a solo player but can also support duo and trio groups on a vanilla based server. The base features numerous advanced base design features, such as compact item placements, anti-door camping measures, high capacity storage, intentional loot spreading, and well-placed traps.
Inside of the spread loot solo base design, you will find the following items:
- Three sleeping bags
- Twelve furnaces
- One auto turret
- One level 2 workbench
- One level 3 workbench
- Three shelves
- One barbeque
- Sixteen large boxes
- Four small boxes
- One tool cupboard
The base’s design forces raiders to have to spend additional explosives to access the spread out loot rooms. It will cost 1,000 explosive ammo to directly raid to the tool cupboard and well over 2,000 explosive ammo to access all of the loot rooms.
This base also has the advantage of being easily expanded upon, as it is a “starter to main” build. Built in stages, each serves as a functional base. Players can live out of the starter portion and expand the design to the next step as and when the resources are available to do so.
Build Cost
- 5.7k Metal Fragments
- 18.1k Stone
- 4.5k Wood
Upkeep Cost
- Metal Fragments: 1.7k
- Stone: 3k
- Wood: 0

Hey guys and welcome back to another video. In today’s video, we are looking at another RUST base design that can go from a starter to a main base. This base can be used for solos, duos, trios upwards and uses features such as loot spreading and an unlootable tool cupboard.

I do have a Discord channel which will be linked below for anyone wanting to join. And finally, whilst I am here, I’ve also set up the Members tab on the channel now. If anyone is looking to support me further, this would be a great place to do so. Please let me know in the comments what sorts of benefits you’d like to see from being a member in the future. Now, let’s get into the video.
Just before we get into the tour, these are all the items that are inside the base. We have three sleeping bags, twelve furnaces and a turret. As well as level three workbench, tool cupboard, level two workbench, three shelves, four small boxes, a barbecue, and finally sixteen large boxes. All of this fits into the footprint shown here and the loot rooms are highlighted in metal.
Coming over to the base here, we have a sheet door to get inside quickly. Followed by a sheet double door here to act as a door block airlock. This will prevent door campers from going deep and is good for seeing what’s outside.
Continuing through this garage door here, we get further into the base. We have a number of garage doors before we get to the core and then there’s a turret in the center of your base to help with defending. Each loot room is in a different direction to force raiders to use more explosives. Coming through this way, we have your first loot room holding five large boxes and three furnaces. You can swap the loot room out for Evil Wurst’s seven box loot room if you need more boxes.
Over into this door here we have your second loot room holding another three furnaces and another five large boxes. Again, swap this out for whatever suits you.
The third loot room is through this door holding an additional five large boxes, four furnaces, one small box and a barbecue. You also have a sleeping bag in here, but again, swap this out for whatever suits you.
And finally, through these doors here we have another two furnaces, your research bench, your tier two workbench, three small boxes, one large box and finally your tier three workbench which also hides your tool cupboard behind it making it extremely difficult to find and also making it unlootable. You can still access this easily by jumping on the tier three, opening the door and looking through the small slit available at the top.
The footprint of the base is simple. Beginning with a triangle and a square for your starter base before expanding out and add three loot rooms and finally again to add a layer of honeycomb. To break down the raid cost, this is the cost to raid directly to the TC and this is the cost to get all of the loot. This base is going to cost you 5.7k metal, 4.5k wood, and 18.1k stone with an upkeep cost of 1.7k metal, 0 wood and 3k stone. A more detailed costing can be found in the comments to include deployables.
