Xylobone

The Xylobone is a deployable musical instrument and part of the RUST Instruments Pack DLC. This DLC must be purchased from the Steam store.

Before you can play it, you must place the instrument on a relatively flat surface and mount it like a chair or a terminal. You can manually play the instrument by pressing Mouse One and Mouse Two. You can also press the R key to turn your keyboard into an array of instrumental notes.

Alternatively, you can hook up a midi-player to play your favorite songs, or you can load midi’s into your RUST folder and play them using the RUST console command line. Check out our guide on RUST instruments for more information.

If you need to turn off RUST’s instruments, you can turn them off in the settings without affecting other game sounds.
