Wolf Headdress

The Wolf Headdress is a default blueprint item first conceptualized in May 2015 and is a primary top head covering.

The wolf headdress is the base item for several reskins added to the game, including but not limited to the Dragon Mask, Ox Mask, Rat Mask, Nest Hat, and Scarecrow Wrap.

When used with a Bandana Mask, it gives you the same protection as the Coffee Can Helmet but with considerably improved cold protection at the cost of one more armor slot. Because of this, the wolf/bandana combo is often used as filler items due to cost until the Metal Facemask is available.

The wolf headdress is only available by crafting it in-game and is not dropped by any known boxes or NPCs.

Ironically, despite being used as the statistical base for so many reskins, there are no alternate skins available for the wolf variety itself.
