Wellipets Hat
The Wellipets Hat is a promotional item in RUST and was launched to facilitate the purchase of Frog Wellingtons Green real-world boots as a cross-company item, with the in-game hat as a consular incentive.
From a statistically functional perspective, this is a basic reskin of the Wolf Headdress, complete with the exact cost and defensive capacity. Unlike said headdress, it crafts considerably faster when not under the effect of any tier workbench. When used with a Bandana Mask, it gives a player the same protection as the Coffee Can Helmet but with considerably improved cold protection at the cost of one more armor slot.
The only way to acquire this item in the game aside from Administrative F1 Console spawning is to own the Steam item blueprint and craft it or trade for it from a player that has it.
Its unique appearance makes the wearer resemble a person wearing an upside-down Frog Boot on their head, complete with cutout sections for the eyes to see through and a chinstrap to keep that bad boy in place.
How to obtain the Wellipets Hat in RUST
The Wellipets Hat may only be obtained by purchasing the real-world Wellipets Boot item, rewarding the purchasing linked account with the in-game blueprint. It may be worn by anyone. It may be crafted as follows:
- Access to a workbench is not required to craft this item.
- Gather 10 Cloth and 1 Wolf Skull.
- In your crafting menu, type Wellipets Hate and select it to craft.
- Press the Craft button and wait the required time.
