Weapon Rack Stand

The Weapon Rack Stand is a deployable storage item in RUST. Weapon racks can be used by players to store weapons and items, but are also capable of displaying the items that they store! What a great way to show off your collection!

The primary function of this item is to act as a quick-grab weapon holder, allowing for fast swapping between a player’s inventory and the rack itself.

Weapon Racks Pack

This item is a part of the Weapon Racks Pack available in the RUST item store. The pack contains four variations of weapon racks:

• Wide Wall-Mounted Weapon Rack
• Tall Wall-mounted Weapon Rack
• Weapon Rack Stand
• Horizontal Wall-mounted Weapon Rack

How to get a Weapon Rack Stand

The weapon rack stand is currently a work bench level 1 blueprint, requiring (at present) 10 scrap to research directly for Industrial purposes, but otherwise is only available to those that purchase the DLC, not currently appearing on the tech tree.  This item does not currently drop from any known crates or NPCs.

How to use a Weapon Rack Stand

Players may deploy weapon rack stands on most flat foundation floor surfaces and relatively flat ground areas in locations where they possess Building Privilege.

As a byproduct of this open storage racking method, locks may not be placed to safeguard your items, and anyone, regardless of authorization status, may quickly access the weapons or tools deployed. Please keep this fact in mind when deciding what items to display in your stand.

Controls and menu options

Clicking the middle mouse/mouse wheel button will bring up the pie-wheel menu with the following options:

• Mount – quick-place an item on the rack
  • E – mounts the item
• Take – Remove this particular item
• Take All – Remove all weapons and tools displayed on this rack
• #Load the ammo – Load a particular ammunition type into a weapon displayed, requiring a small timer to accomplish.  Can load any ammo within the player’s inventory
• Unload Ammo – Remove whatever ammunition is currently loaded instantly.

Hovering over any weapon type will show the currently loaded ammunition and the weapon’s condition. Tools will only show condition, with ammo displayed as N/A. Weapon attachments are NOT shown on the racked weapon when equipped on any weapon.
