Wanted Poster 4
The Wanted Poster 4 is a deployable display item in RUST that functions much like a Portrait Photo Frame, both in deployment and function, except it can show a player’s Steam ID and player model face in real-time. It attaches directly to the wall in the same fashion as all frame items.
This particular Wanted Poster, having four iterations in total, is presented as a filthy, very large piece of parchment paper, apparently folded into a quarter of its full size at one point.
The words “Wanted – Dead O/R Alive” are displayed across the bottom. The image of the assigned wanted player will appear above this once hung and designated.
How to get a Wanted Poster 4
The Wanted Poster 4 is a DLC-exclusive blueprint that is available only to those who purchase the Base Decor Pack: Frontier from the RUST Item Store. It will appear in your crafting list after purchasing it.
- It doesn’t appear on the tech tree
- It doesn’t drop from crates or NPCs as loot
- It does not require a workbench to craft
How to use a Wanted Poster 4
Players may deploy the Wanted Poster 4 on wall structures in buildings with building privileges. This same privilege prohibits players without authorization to change the displayed image after the fact otherwise.
Hover your cursor over the Wanted Poster 4 and press the E key. When the option “Take Photo” appears, it will result in the “Assign to a Friend” window appearing. This window is similar to the interface used for designating a Sleeping Bag to a teammate or someone you’ve seen speak recently in general chat in-game.
Assign the desired Steam ID you wish to have set as wanted, and then afterward, a black and white photo will appear on the Wanted Poster 4. Beneath, it will list the Steam name of the account at the time of assignment.
