Sunflower Clone

RUST Sunflower Clones are a plantable item from which players can grow and harvest Sunflowers. Facepunch added clones and farmable berries in the Mixing Table Update on August 6, 2020, with additional flower-type plants added in March 2025.

A Sunflower Clone is created by clipping a Sunflower Seed plant planted by a player and bringing it to the fruiting stage. Hold down the E key while mousing over the plant to make a clipping, and select the clone or clone all option.

Sunflower Clones are identical to Sunflower Seeds in every way (except having genetics) and can be grown in the ground, in Large Planter Boxes, or Small Planter Boxes. Better genetics result in better yield, providing more Sunflowers when harvested.
