The Scientist Plushie is a cosmetic-meets-functional comfort item in RUST, released through a real-world collaboration with Youtooz. Players obtain the in-game plushie by purchasing the physical Scientist Youtooz figure and redeeming the included code once the product ships.

Functionally, the Scientist Plushie behaves identically to other comfort items like the Pookie Bear, providing a 70% comfort aura that enables passive health regeneration. While primarily decorative, it offers meaningful early-game and base utility by reducing reliance on medical items when food and hydration are maintained.

How to Acquire the Scientist Plushie

• Youtooz Website: Purchasable from the Youtooz store for a limited time. Must be redeemed.
• Crafting: Can be crafted anywhere, once unlocked on the account.
• Loot Sources: Does not appear in loot tables.
• Research: Cannot be learned via Research Tables.
• Purchase: Cannot be bought in-game from NPC vendors or player shops.
• Console Access: Spawnable via F1 console on servers with appropriate permissions

Redemption Codes

• Codes are sent after the physical item has shipped.
• The Scientist Plush figures were scheduled to ship between December 1 and December 31.
• Once shipment confirmation is sent, redemption codes typically follow shortly after.
