Pumpkin Pie

The Pumpkin Pie is an edible item acquired through its crafting, added with the March 6, 2025 patch. They are a Cooking Workbench-dependent item made from a recipe requiring 3 Eggs, 3 Wheat, and 1 Pumpkin.

Pie item types have three primary purposes and/or functions. Each type of pie can be eaten by default, though it has to be placed in the hotbar, equipped as you would a weapon, and then consumed by clicking the Left Mouse Button. Doing so will result in gaining some health, hydration, and calories, as listed below. Alternatively, they function as practical weapons that players can throw by equipping, and instead, clicking the Right Mouse Button to hurl at a player or NPC. Pies may be picked back up after the fact and reused in this manner until they glitch out or are picked up by someone else.

Finally, all pies give a status buff, depending on the pie type.

In the case of Pumpkin Pie, players are given a 10% maximum health increase for 10 minutes. This effect does not stack with Max Health tea effects and will replace it if eaten after drinking one.

When consumed, the Pumpkin Pie will restore 80 calories and 15 hydration and heal the player by two health instantly. When thrown at a naked player, a successful body shot will inflict 10 damage, while a lucky headshot will deal a whopping 15 damage.
