Powered Water Purifier

The RUST Powered Water Purifier is a deployable filtration system used for manufacturing farming or drinking water out of ocean water. It serves the same basic function as a Water Purifier, but on a much larger scale.

While using a Wire Tool or Hose Tool to check available ports, players will find the standard Water In, Water Out, and Power In options. It requires 5 electrical power to function and is usually used in conjunction with a Water Pump for maximum efficiency.

When powered, Salt Water is converted to fresh Water and can be extracted through the Water Out port for any number of applications. Powered water purifiers may be picked up when placed with a Hammer and may be deployed on most surfaces.

Powered water purifiers are found in an assortment of low-to-mid-tier crates, as well as dropped from many scientist types. RUST players may purchase them directly from Outpost at a cost of 150 Scrap, learn them directly via research table, or through a scrap investment into the Tier 2 Workbench tech tree.
