Netting

RUST Netting is a deployable construction item that can be permanently affixed to double door frame openings, allowing players to climb it, while also being able to see through it. They are available to all players as a default blueprint.

When Netting is placed on a door frame, it cannot be removed, making it a mild annoyance when griefing a player’s base in RUST. It is nowhere near as strong as the Metal Shop Front. The Netting allows projectiles, such as bullets and arrows, to pass through it, but at the same time, those projectiles can hit it, causing it to receive damage.

Netting is not found in any container or as loot from any NPC in the game. You may only obtain them through crafting. They do not require a workbench, and they do not add upkeep costs to bases that use them and will remain in place without decay so long as they are under the effect of a Tool Cupboard.
