Medieval Barricade

The Medieval Barricade is a defensive deployable item players use to block pathways into their base and provide defensive cover. It was added to RUST with the Primitive Update in February of 2025 and is an exact statistical duplicate of the Barbed Wooden Barricade. Players who purchase the Medieval Pack DLC will see this item in their crafting windows and have the option to craft it.

Dealing more damage than the plain Wooden Barricade, the Medieval Barricade will also cause substantial bleed damage to any RUST player who touches it or attacks it with a melee weapon.

Players may place this item where they have building privilege, or none exists, either on flat ground or foundations and floors.

These barricades are ideal as base defenses when considering ways of impeding players approaching the walls of your base, with one notable exception from their barbed counterparts; they may be climbed over from behind and lept over without damage or penalty. Players can strategically place these defensive barricades near open doorways to push players into them.

If they are out of range of a Tool Cupboard, they will despawn in 8 hours.
