M15 Semi-Automatic Pistol
The M15 Semi-Automatic Pistol is a standalone Pilot Pack DLC skin for the Semi-Automatic Pistol in RUST. It has all of the same statistics and combat features as the P2.
The Semi-Automatic Pistol (P2) is a low-ranged, higher rate of fire gun in RUST. They are a notable step up from the Revolver but not quite as effective or highly regarded as the Python.
The weapon is middle of the field regarding reloading time and has a small magazine size, but a very manageable recoil. It is very cheap to craft and relatively easy to find. Players are usually quick to replace this weapon with something more substantial, as its accuracy leaves a great deal to be desired. From a pure damage standpoint, the P2 hits quite hard for the sum of its parts.
P2s may be acquired from many mid-to-high-tier crates, as well as from scientists of most types. They are used through the first few days of the wipe but are commonly replaced as soon as possible by higher-tier weapons. Players may research them directly or invest Scrap into a Tier 2 Workbench for acquisition via the tech tree.
The P2 accepts the following bullet types: HV Pistol Ammo, Incendiary Pistol Bullet, and Pistol Bullet.
P2s are not a good option for Auto Turret defense systems.
