Junkyard Drum Kit

The Junkyard Drum Kit is a deployable musical instrument and part of the RUST Instruments Pack DLC. This DLC must be purchased from the Steam store.

Before playing it, you must place the drums on a relatively flat surface and mount them like you would a chair. You can manually play the drum kit by pressing Mouse One and Mouse Two. You can also press the R key to turn your keyboard into an array of instrumental notes.

Alternatively, you can hook up a midi-player to play your favorite songs or load midi’s into your RUST folder and play them using the RUST console command line. Check out our guide on RUST instruments for more information.

If you need to turn off RUST’s instruments, you can turn them off in the settings without affecting other game sounds.
