High External Stone Wall
The RUST High External Stone Wall is a deployable construction item allowing players to place them individually or joined together as a greater wall.
Barricades take various forms in RUST, ranging from tiny, barely sufficient wooden walls to duck behind to mammoth stone walls such as this, fit for protecting a fortress from invaders.
High external stone walls are a tier 2 blueprint and, while not easy to find or cheap to craft, provide the best non-foundation protection of their item type for players and clans that wish to ‘compound.’ With 500 hit points, the stone wall will take 2 Timed Explosive Charge or 185 Explosive 5.56 Rifle Ammo to break down.
They stand stationary when placed and can’t be moved or picked up unless destroyed. When used in conjunction with other top-tier barricades, such as the High External Stone Gate, they create a hard-to-penetrate barrier between the outside world and the base they surround. Unlike the gate, players may deploy Wooden Ladders directly onto walls and infiltrate if they can survive the damage inflicted by the metal barbs on top.
High external stone walls can be looted from a small assortment of mid to high-tier loot crates and be dropped from scientists around the map. They require a considerable Scrap investment to learn via the tier 2 workbench, and even when researched via research table, they are still one of the single most expensive blueprints.
They do not add upkeep costs to bases that use them and will remain in place without decay if they are under the effect radius of a Tool Cupboard.
