Frontier Suit

The RUST Frontier Suit is a skin available for the Hazmat Suit, released as part of Facepunch’s General Permanent Store items with the Frontiersman Pack DLC in the October 2024 World Update 2.0 update.

Its original bundled sale price is unknown at this point in time, and, like all other permanent item store items, it is most likely to be unavailable for resale on the Steam marketplace.

While possessing the same defensive statistics as the Hazmat Suit, the overall aesthetic of this item is representative of a mix of modern military and World War II articles. The hat itself is similar to a Russian Ushanka, complete with a full burlap-style headwrap. The jacket is quite tactical, made from what appears to be water-resistant fabric, and has several places to stash combat necessities.

The assortment of belts, drapes, and rope wraps further add places to quickly tuck weapons away. The overall appeal of the Frontier Suit as a RUST item is its dark but subtle appearance, making it ideal for night or desert combat situations.

In addition to being an in-game skin, it is also directly spawnable as its own entity type by server administrators from the F1 Console. Despite its name implication, this item does not increase the rate at which you move through woodland areas.
