Frontier Mirror Standing
This item was removed from the game shortly after launch.
The Frontier Mirror Standing is a deployable cosmetic decor item in RUST that functions similarly to a Portrait Photo Frame item, except it partially reflects the player’s surroundings depending on the direction in which the player gazes at it. It attaches directly to the wall in the same fashion as all other frame items.
The primary function of this item is to cast some semblance of a reflection or at least give the appearance that it does. Players cannot see themselves or other players in it without looking directly at the mirror. There are different size iterations of this item, with this being the tallest, player-shaped upright iteration.
How to get a Frontier Mirror Standing
As a DLC-exclusive blueprint, the Frontier Mirror Standing is available only to those players who purchase the Base Decor Pack: Frontier from the RUST Item Store. It will appear in your crafting list after purchasing it.
- It doesn’t appear on the tech tree and cannot be researched
- It doesn’t drop from crates or NPCs as loot
- It does not require a workbench to craft
How to use the Frontier Mirror Standing
Players may deploy any Frontier Mirror Standing decoration on wall structures in buildings with building privileges.
Anyone may then pass in front of it and do their best to grin through the grime. They aren’t very clear at all, and players appear invisible to them at the moment.
This item currently has no interaction features to speak of other than passive reflective casting.
