Frankenstein Mask

The RUST Frankenstein Mask is a low-tier headwear piece inspired by Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein“ character. It is a Halloween-theme mask with defensive statistics identical to those of the Headset and Snowman Helmet.

The game depicts the mask as a sad-faced, near-close-eyed mask with an elongated forehead, done in all green shades. The skin is separated and held together via staples and stitching, with bolts protruding from both temples. The mouth is close-lipped and frowning, with hair that only covers the top in a minimalist style. It has large green ears and is sure to scare the pants off any RUST player as you spring from a bush in it.

Because it is a full-head covering, it doesn’t allow for pairings with other defensive items, such as the Bandana Mask. Players can use it with cosmetic Sunglasses and it pairs well with the Frankenstein Cape.

While not as protective as other helmet types, such as the Metal Facemask, it offers sizeable early wipe protection from radiation and cold for a very low Cloth resource cost. It may be recycled for half the crafting cost, yielding five pieces of Cloth.

The Frankenstein Mask may only be obtained and crafted by those who purchased the Steam item from the RUST or Steam Community stores. They do not require a workbench to craft. The Frankenstein Mask is also spawnable in the game via the F1 console by RUST server administrators.
