The RUST Floor Triangle Grill is a construction component in RUST, used almost explicitly to create furnace bases.
With 250 hit points, the Floor Triangle Grill will take 1 Timed Explosive Charge or 63 Explosive 5.56 Rifle Ammo to break down. While certainly not as strong as using a simple stone roof, Floor Triangle Grills are commonly used to enclose Large Furnaces so that base owners can smelt large quantities of ore without fear of being stolen.
RUST building mechanics dictate that no closed roof structure may be placed over a large furnace at a height less than roughly 4 full walls stacked. This requirement makes building enclosed furnace bases quite costly to construct and upkeep.
Floor Triangle Grills may be placed within a floor frame to circumvent this building restriction, greatly reducing the construction and upkeep cost but offering significantly reduced building protection over the traditional roof that could be used.
Once deployed within a floor frame, Floor Triangle Grills may not be picked up, becoming a permanent part of the structure.
Players may acquire Floor Triangle Grills from several crate types, as well as drops from a multitude of scientists. The most efficient way to learn the Floor Grill and Floor Triangle Grill is through the research table due to a little-known ‘bug.’ When learning them this way, players research both for the cost of either instead of researching them individually at the tier 1 workbench, saving you 75 Scrap.
