Diver Propulsion Vehicle

The RUST Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) is the first non-enclosed water-based vehicle that allows players to submerge in water and utilize a propulsion engine that consumes Low Grade Fuel instead of burning the player’s calories. DPVs offer a quieter, much more stealthy mode of Deep Sea travel than alternatives such as Submarines, allowing players to sneak up on people and bases.

Acting as a standalone deployable more than a vehicle, comparable to how a Kayak works, the DPV comes equipped with two handlebars, a fuel tank, a rear-jetting fan motor, a working forward-facing flashlight, and gauges to display fuel and speed. The bars themselves strikingly resemble a goat’s horns to provide maximum ‘hold-on-ability’ for those using this device.

The DPV may be deployed in any water of adequate depth (roughly half a character height) and may be picked up again by holding the E key.
