The RUST Counter is a deployable electrical component used as a numerical display and monitoring system. Facepunch added electricity components in the Electric Anniversary Update on the 7th of December, 2018.
Players may deploy counters on most surfaces and use a Wiring Tool to connect to its various static ports. In addition to the standard Power In and Passthrough ports that are common on most electrical components, counters also have Increment Counter, Decrement Counter, and Clear Counter functions.
Be sure to reference our assorted electrical guides for more detailed information on these. Counters also have two modes, one for actual counting of functions and the other to display the amount of power it is currently receiving.
Players may find counters in an assortment of low-to-mid-tier crates and drops from a wide range of scientists. Players may also research them or invest scrap into the Tier 2 Workbench tech tree.
