Chandelier

Overview

The Chandelier is a deployable ceiling light fixture in RUST to be introduced with the September 2025 Exhibit Decor Pack. It is the first adjustable ceiling-mounted light source in the game, offering both decorative and functional value for base design.

Unlike standard light sources such as Ceiling Lights, Tuna Can Lamps, or simple Torches, the Chandelier is a height-adjustable fixture. Once deployed, players can interact with it to raise or lower the fixture, giving more control over base aesthetics and lighting coverage.

It requires 4 units of power to operate and includes a passthrough option for daisy-chaining with other electrical components.

How to Acquire the Chandelier

• DLC Requirement: Only available to users who purchase the Exhibit Decor Pack from the Steam Store.
• Research Cost: Cannot be researched.
• Blueprint Availability: Cannot be blueprinted.
• Crafting Requirements: 100 Metal Fragments
• Workbench Level: Requires a Workbench Level 1 or greater to craft.

To Craft the Chandelier:

1. Your Steam account must have the Exhibit Decor Pack enabled.
2. Ensure you have 100 Metal Fragments in inventory
3. Stand near a Workbench Level 1 or greater
4. Press the Tab button in-game to open the crafting menu
5. Type “Chandelier” in the search bar
6. Click on its icon, then click the “Craft” button

Using the Chandelier

• Deployment Rules:
  • Can only be deployed on flat ceilings (roof tiles).
  • Will not attach to angled building pieces.
• Electrical Connections:
  • Power In: 1 port
  • Passthrough: 1 port
  • Power Usage: 4 units
• Adjustable Height:
  • Players can use the E button radial menu to raise or lower the Chandelier when next to it or its chain.
  • Can be lowered up to 2 building stories or as far as possible without obstruction.
  • Any collider objects will prevent it from lowering or raising.
• Durability:
  • 300 Hit Points
• Repairing:
  • Requires the Hammer and Metal Fragments

The Chandelier offers a unique combination of decorative control and functional lighting:

• It can brighten larger areas if lowered into tall rooms, event halls, or clan bases.
