Ceiling Light

The Ceiling Light is an essential electrical component that RUST players can use to light their base once they have a consistent flow of electricity.

You can also use the ceiling light to illuminate plants, effectively speeding up their growth by lighting them during the night or growing indoors.

Costing only 50 Metal Fragments at a Work Bench Level 1, ceiling lights are relatively cheap to produce and do not require much power.

Each ceiling light will consume two power from the grid. Ceiling lights have a Power In and Passthrough socket that allows you to run cabling straight through your base from one light to the next.

The ceiling light’s cone is about the size of one square foundation. However, if you can elevate the ceiling light up a floor, the lit area is effectively doubled.

If you leave your ceiling lights until they are the last electrical component, you can also use them as a gauge for your power supply overall.

If there are five lights in a chain, and the last two have gone out, you know that your system is short by four power.
