The Ceiling Fluorescent Light is a deployable lighting item in RUST, added with the September 2025 update as part of the Exhibit Decor Pack. It functions as a skin for the Ceiling Light, giving players a fluorescent-style design option without altering the item’s underlying mechanics.

While visually similar to the standalone Fluorescent Light, the Ceiling Fluorescent Light differs in that it is mountable on roofs and is effectively a skin. It uses the same stats, power requirements, and deployment rules as the standard Ceiling Light, but applies a modern, tube-like fluorescent appearance.

This skin-based approach allows players to enjoy the look of an upgraded light fixture while keeping all the mechanics of the base Ceiling Light intact.

How to Acquire the Fluorescent Light

To Create the Ceiling Fluorescent Light:

• Your Steam account must have the Exhibit Decor Pack enabled.
• Ensure you have a Ceiling Light in inventory
• Stand near a Repair Bench and open its menu
• Insert the Ceiling Light
• Select the “Ceiling Fluorescent Light” skin below
• Click on its icon to create the skin
