Basic Warming Tea

The Basic Warming Tea is a consumable item that players can produce at a Mixing Table. Facepunch added teas to the Mixing Table Update on August 6, 2020, with an additional batch of crafting-quality and temperature-adjusting teas coming with the March 6, 2025, update, followed by another update in June 2025.

Drinking warming teas provides hydration just as all other teas do, with two temperature-related side effects, for a specified duration. In the case of the Basic Warming Tea, these stats are as follows;

Hydration is increased by +30, while 5 degrees of temperature are increased, with a Minimum temperature of -15 °C being the lowest that a player under the impact of this tea can reach. The duration of these effects is 20 minutes.

Basic Warming Tea is ideal for farming, living, or raiding within the winter biome. There are no significant negatives associated with this tea’s effects, and allowing it to persist through night cycles will in no way negatively impact a player, even if they become wet and neglect their clothing.

Once brewed, you can put the tea on your hotbar for immediate consumption. While different teas of the same type do not stack buffs, you may have more than one active tea buff at a time.  Again, keep in mind that if you die, you will lose all tea buffs.
