Armored Cockpit Vehicle Module
The Armored Cockpit Vehicle Module is a vehicle component for the 2, 3, or 4 piece modular vehicles. Facepunch added the modular vehicles in the Modular Vehicle Component Update on the 3rd of July, 2020.
Like all modular vehicle components, you can only add or remove the Armored Cockpit Vehicle Module by having a vehicle raised on a powered Modular Car Lift.
The armored cockpit vehicle module will take up one space of a modular vehicle and provide two seats, with a steering wheel on the right-side seat.
With 700 hitpoints, the armored cockpit vehicle module is the most secure modular vehicle component for the safety of passengers traveling in a car.
The tradeoff for this security is limited visibility and the inability to fire back at aggressors.
Unlike other modular vehicle driving components, the armored cockpit vehicle module has armor on all sides and prevents damage to the driver and passenger from most sources, provided the armored cockpit vehicle module has total health.
The security of the armored cockpit vehicle module will decrease as it takes more damage.
At 420 hit points, the front window will break away, and at 175 hit points, the rear panel will also disintegrate. Finally, once the armored cockpit vehicle module reaches 0 hit points, the doors will fall out, exposing the driver and passenger.
Note that if you have two armored cockpit vehicle modules attached to a vehicle, both the module’s steering wheels will control the car.
