RUST Base Designs from our No Decay Server (Feb 2025)
This year’s February wipe cycle has wrapped up and brought another month of creative base designs, experimental strategies, and sheer stubbornness and determination across our No Decay server, which is coming up on its 9th year of operation. As we’ve participated in covering the game with our guides, it’s clear that Facepunch is pushing RUST to evolve with each update, and so, too, is the ingenuity of the RUST community. Whether adapting to terrain changes, new raiding tactics, resource scarcity, or unique server-metas, RUST base builders remain relentless in pushing the limits.
This month, we’ve documented an impressive array of base designs (over 130 captured), ranging from fortified clan compounds to compact yet highly efficient solo bases and shanties hiding in plain sight. The rise and fall of the various RUST base-building techniques have made for some fascinating builds, and we’ve even spotted a few unique designs that might see some repeat action in March’s wipe.
