Overpowered Roof Bunker Base

Overpowered Roof Bunker Base

Back again, Lloydz has a new RUST base design that uses the roof bunker base technique in the design.

This base also uses an interesting method of removing reinforced glass windows from the frame to move between many sections of the base. While this may seem odd at first, consider the following:

  • Sheet metal doors can be blown into with just 4 satchels
  • Garage doors can be blown into with 9 satchels
  • Reinforced glass windows require 12 satchels

Another interesting benefit of using the reinforced glass windows is that they reduce the overall upkeep cost of the base. Each reinforced glass window requires 10 less metal per placement when compared to sheet metal doors, and 25 less metal when compared to garage doors. Over time you’ll learn from the differing meta of each base build. It can certainly add up, this is certainly one of those areas to keep an eye on.

Here’s a break down of the base’s build cost and upkeep:

Total Build Cost:

  • Stones: 18,000
  • Wood: 5,200
  • Metal Fragments: 7,800

The Upkeep Costs:

  • Stones:3,100
  • Wood: 240
  • Metal Fragments: 1,400

With that, you’re here to watch his video, enjoy!

How’s it going on everybody, welcome back to another video, in today’s video I’ll be showing you how to build the overpowered roof bunker base, I know you’re dying to see it so let’s get into the video.

Jumping straight into the tour, we have a normal 2 door airlock followed up by an unusual design, we’re using windows instead of doors, here we have 2 furnaces, 2 large boxes and a tier 3.

Opening this garage door is where the magic happens, there we have two beds and two boxes.

Opening the bunker you have your tool cupboard and 2 large boxes, jumping up onto your beds, we have two un-lootable designs with 4 boxes on each side, over here we have 3 small furnaces and 2 large boxes.

Now, if you have enjoyed leave a like and subscribe and let’s get into the build, I’m going to do a voice over for the build so its easier for you.

The Base Build

Firstly what you’re going to want to do a find a small hill and place your foundation just slightly inside it, you’ll know if you do it right as you should be able to place two higher foundations like shown here.

After that, place two triangles as shown and upgrade everything to sheet metal.

Next place two higher foundations. Once you’ve done that you can start placing triangles.

Coming onto the bunker place your roof and place your tool cupboard inside before you upgrade the roof, once you’ve done this the rest is pretty simple.

Thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next video.
