Mini-Vault RUST Bunker Base Design (2018)

The Mini-Vault RUST Bunker Base Design

Our partner xRaw is back with another RUST base design, the Mini-Vault bunker base design.

The Mini Vault contains a vault mechanic that is both cheap, easy to deploy and remove when needed. This rust base design contains features such as a hard to raid tool cupboard, compact item placements, a mini bunker base format, with a deceptive and practical double metal roof stability entrance. There is an ample amount of storage and built-in anti-raid mechanics.

This Rust base will cost more than 150 satchels to raid DIRECTLY to the tool cupboard and potentially over 200-400 satchels if you don’t know where the tool cupboard is located. It’s considerably strong for its cost and can be used for solos, duos, trios, and small groups. It’s easily expandable and additional honeycombing can be added.

The Mini-Vault RUST base design is a “bunker base” build, meaning it’s built in such a way that a section of the base is unreachable unless players spawn in a sleeping bag placed inside of it or blow through the wall at an extremely high cost. These types of bases are quite strong and deceptive. The bunker sections often go unnoticed by raiders.

In addition, this is a “starter to main” build. The base can be built in stages, allowing players the ability to live out of the starter section, then expand once the resources are available.

Building Cost

  • Metal Fragments:  5,900
  • Wood: 5,000
  • Stone: 21,000

Upkeep Cost:

  • Metal Fragments: 1,450
  • Wood: 9
  • Stone: 3,700

With that, you’re here to watch his video, enjoy!

Video Transcript

Hey guys welcome back to another RUST video.

In today’s video we’re going to be building the mini vault base design for solo duo or trio players.

Jumping into the base here we have your standard door lock / air lock which allows you to die with your doors open and no risk of people going deep.

Coming through this door is where the bunker works. We have to sheet metal roofs blocking two doorways meaning raiders would need to destroy the roofs to go through the doors. You want to set this up each time you log off.

To remove these roofs you’ll need to spawn inside your base or be in the base already and remove the twig floor here. You can place this back and rebuild at any time.

In this room here you have eight large boxes and four small boxes but swap this out for whatever suits you.

Jumping down the chute here takes you to the main part your base with 12 large boxes, 10 small boxes, 3 furnaces, your workbench and your TC which is extremely hard to raid.

The last time I did a bunker like this some people commented that flames will destroy this so here’s an clip of me flaming it and rocketing it. You’ll see that it doesn’t break.

Other people suggested that if you go through the floor will be cheaper as you can see here even if you destroy the floor you can’t get in without removing this roof.

If you’re worried about this just upgrade to HQM.

That’s it for the tour if you do enjoy the video make sure to leave a like because it really helps out and if you want to see more don’t forget to subscribe and hit the bell to receive notifications of all my uploads.
