RUST Compact Cheap Base Design

The Compact Cheap RUST Base Design

The Compact Cheap base design, brought to you by xRaw with another RUST base design.

This RUST base design is intended for a solo or duo. It is both cheap to build and compact. This rust base design contains features such compact item placements and a hard to raid tool cupboard. The design is quite strong for its cost, due to the layout of the footprint, maximizing cost per honeycomb. RUST base designs need to ensure that they are strong and defensible. With this RUST base building tutorial xRaw walks through some advanced RUST base building tips and tricks.

In addition, this design is a “starter to main” build, meaning it’s built in stages and is expandable. Players can live out of the starter and expand the base in stages as the resources become available.

Video Transcript

Hey guys and welcome back to another RUST video.

In today’s video we’re going to be building a compact and cheap solo/duo base design.

Jumping into the base here we have your standard door lock airlock which allows you to die with your doors open at no risk of people going deep, followed by 2 garage doors to open the area up and allow viewing via the shopfront.

Crawling into here comes into base, we start with 4 boxes and a furnace here, with another 4 boxes and your research bench here.

Coming through this door is the starter of your base with a total of 7 large boxes, 5 furnaces, your tool cupboard which is extremely hard to raid and your workbench.

Jumping onto here takes you to the 2nd floor which i have filled with 10 large boxes and 7 furnace, but make this your own by adding beds, lockers, or anything else.

That’s it for the tour, if you do enjoy the video make sure you leave a like as it really helps out and if you want to see more like this then don’t forget to subscribe, and hit the bell to receive notifications of all my uploads.
